Disussion on the Third Forum of ILGA

As the directors of Asian Council of ILGA, Mr. Zhao Gang and EVA will share what their experience in Thailand in Beijing LGBT Culture and Activity Center on June 26th, 20:00pm.From January 24th to 27th, the third forum of ILGA (Asian area) was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The theme of the forum was "the equality in the era of diversification". In the forum, participants discussed the topics on the legalization, guiltless and rights-promotion of LGBT under the Asian legal system, the AIDs issue in Asia, the acceptance of transgenders in the LGBT community, the reality faced with the women and the LGBT movement, the integration of LGBT movement and other social activities, as well as constructing the international association of LGBT.

The transgender activist from Yunnan, Zhao Gang, and EVA from Beijing Lesbian Group Common Language were successfully elected the directors of ILGA(Asian area). They will hold a discussion to share the experience of international LGBT movement and regional exchange and cooperation in Beijing LGBT Culture and Activity Center at 20:00pm on June 26th.
